What a beautiful morning, the sun is shining, the kids are happy, and a certain little someone is clebrating their first birthday.
Amelia is rightly the center of attention today, but clearly has no understanding what the fuss is all about bless her. It's hard to believe a year has passed by already. As a parent this is definitely one of the best stages, the first baby steps, the concentration and dedication in trying to stay up straight when walking, the personality coming through the new found laugh she has found, I could be here forever listing all the fantastic things that are about to happen, its just a beautiful beautiful stage that again allows me to relive the inner child in me.
As for the little ones birthday shes been far more happy playing with things she knows she shouldn't, opening cupboard doors, trying to grab phones or tablets, she even managed to get a noodle on her hand, shake her hand vigourously and it land on her head (managed to get a little footage of the last one on video ;-)) all in all its been a fab day and the little one is now starting to look very tired, although she's now at that stage where she'd never admit to being tired and is always scared she's missing out on something lol.
As for the other little one she's had us in bits as always, we asked her if she was on a desert island and could take three things with her what would they be? Her response.....a sheet, some bricks and a door, and that somes up Grace perfectly, completly random :-).
